Artist's Description

This picture was taken at predawn from my dad's hospital room in downtown San Antonio, TX in 2004. I pressed my lens against the window to steady the long exposure. It was a good moment for deep prayer to God to please heal his cancer and ease his pain. My father passed away four months later.
